Semester Shop Class - the “Classic”
Looking for a regularly-occurring metalworking class for youth? The "Classic" Shop Class is a student favorite!
This youth class meets once a week for 10 weeks during the semester. Students will have the opportunity to explore blacksmithing, bladesmithing, welding, metallurgy, and much more! Since every student has different interests and experience levels, students will work with a learning coach to develop individualized projects and learning goals designed just for them.
Course structure: This class follows the “Youth Apprentice Ranking" system, which functions similarly to a martial arts belt designation! For more information on apprentice rankings, click on “Apprentice Levels”

Section 1: Mondays 5:30-7:30
Section 2: Tuesdays 9-12
Section 3: Wednesday 9-12
Section 4: Wednesday 1-4
Section 5: Friday 9-12
FAQ's:
Q: What if I can't make it? Are there times set aside for make-up classes?
A: Yes! If you can't make a class, just contact us! You'll have the option to join any of the other sections to make up your class, or you can come during regular class time the week of April 22nd.
Q: What's the snow policy?
A: All snow closures/delays will be posted to the front banner of the website by 6am. If we're still open but you don't feel comfortable driving, don't worry! We'll definitely get you rescheduled.
