When browsing the class catalog, you’ll notice prerequisites like “Apprentice II” marked on special classes. This designation is for YOUTH only, and is intended to keep the youngest members of our community safe and on a great path to success!

Q: Do adults need to follow this progression?
A: Nope! These levels are for youth ages 9-18.
Q: My child has had some blacksmithing experience before. Can they jump right into a higher level?
A: That’s awesome that they’ve done blacksmithing before! While they can’t skip levels for safety purposes, any prior experience will likely make the leveling-up process quicker.
